Road Hazard Coverage on all Tires Lexus provides complimentary road hazard tire coverage on all tires sold at JM Lexus.

THE CUSTOMER MUST PRESENT THE ORIGINAL INVOICE SHOWING THE PURCHASE OF THE TIRE

This Road Hazard Program is administered by Ameraan International, Inc. This Road Hazard Program is extended only to the original purchaser of the tire, and not to anyone who may purchase the vehicle or tires during the term of this Road Hazard Program. This Tire Road Hazard Program covers only the tires sold by Lexus Tire Center Program ("Eligible Tires") and listed on the original purchase invoice. This Road Hazard Program covers Eligible Tires for a term of 24 months from the date the customer purchases the tires, or until 4/32" or less of tread remains, whichever occurs first.

WHAT IS A ROAD HAZARD

This Road Hazard Program is administered by Ameraan International, Inc. This Road Hazard Program is extended only to the original purchaser of the tire, and not to anyone who may purchase the vehicle or tires during the term of this Road Hazard Program. This Tire Road Hazard Program covers only the tires sold by Lexus Tire Center Program ("Eligible Tires") and listed on the original purchase invoice. This Road Hazard Program covers Eligible Tires for a term of 24 months from the date the customer purchases the tires, or until 4/32" or less of tread remains, whichever occurs first.

WHERE THE CUSTOMER CAN OBTAIN SERVICE

The customer must return to JM Lexus. If the customer is more than 50 miles from Lexus at time of failure, the customer can contact the Program Administrator at 1-800-317-2445 for assistance in locating the nearest participating Lexus Tire Center.

WHAT YOU MUST DO TO
SUBMIT A ROAD HAZARD CLAIM

  1. Visit JM Lexus or call 954-969-3245 and we will handle the claim. OR If the customer has presented an Eligible Tire that has been damaged due to a road hazard as defined above, verify that less than 24 months has elapsed from the date on the customer's original purchase invoice and that the damaged tire has more than 4/32" tread remaining.
  2. If you determine the tire is repairable and you are more than 50 miles away from Lexus; you may have the tire repaired at 3rd party repair facility. You or the repair facility must contact the program administrator at 1-800-317-2445 prior to repair to ensure reimbursement of repair charges up to $20.00 per occurrence.
  3. If you determine that the tire is not repairable, you must contact the Program Administrator at 1-800-317-2445 for prior authorization and to obtain a claim authorization number. You must obtain prior authorization and a claim authorization number to replace the unserviceable tire or your claim may be denied. The tire must be replaced according to the terms described below under Tire Replacement Terms.
  4. The customer must sign the repair or replacement invoice and provide you with the original invoice. Make a copy of both the original invoice and the repair or replacement invoice. Return the original invoices to the customer.
  5. The customer is responsible for any and all charges not covered by the adjustment as described below.
  6. The damaged tire must be made available for inspection if requested by the Program Administrator. If the Program Administrator requires the tire for inspection, you will be informed during the call to obtain prior authorization.
  7. Submit a copy of the original invoice showing the purchases of the tires and a copy of the repair or replacement invoice signed by the customer to Lexus Tire Center Road Hazard Program, PO BOX 17480, Golden, CO 80402-6024. You must provide the claim authorization number provided to you if the tire was replaced.
  8. All claim documentation, including the tire if requested, must be submitted within 90 days of service in order for the claim to be considered reimbursement.

FLAT TIRE REPAIR

If the customer's tire is damaged due to a road hazard as defined above, and can be safely repaired according to Lexus Tire Center guidelines, repair the tire per manufacturer's guidelines. The repair will be covered for up to $20.00 per tire, per occurrence. The customer is responsible for any additional charges beyond $20.00 including but not limited to balancing and taxes. The Road Hazard Program for this tire will remain effect for 24 months from the date of purchase of the tire, or until 4/32" or less of tread remains on this tire, whichever occurs first.

TIRE REPLACEMENT TERMS

If during the 24-month term, a tire covered by this Road Hazard Program is damaged due to a road hazard as defined above and cannot be safely repaired, and there is more than 4/32" of tread remaining, you should replace the tire with an exact make/model of tire if available. If not available, a comparable quality tire should be installed. When a tire failure occurs in the first 12 months of ownership, and the tire cannot be safely repaired, the tire will be replaced with coverage up to your wholesale purchase price of the tire(s). When a tire fails after the first 12 months, the customer is responsible for one-half of the purchase price of the original tire. The Program Administrator will pay the difference between the wholesale cost of the tire and the customer's pro-rata contribution. The customer is responsible for any additional charges including but not limited to mounting, balancing, taxes and miscellaneous fees. In no event will payment made by the Administrator for any tire exceed the lesser of $299.99 per tire or the wholesale price of the tire.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

The following vehicles are not eligible for coverage:

  • Any vehicle with a load capacity of one-ton or greater designed for, built for or used in private recreational or commercial application including but not limited to Class A(or Type A) Motorhomes and Class C (or Type C) Motorhomes.
  • Any emergency service vehicle, any vehicle used for hire, towing, constructionor postal service.
  • Any vehicle principally used for farm, ranch, agriculture, or off-road use.

Coverage excludes any damage that occurs from:

  • Off-road use (off-road use is describe as driving on anything that is not paved or gravel road maintained by the state or local authority.)
  • Collision, fire, vandalism, theft, snow chains, manufacturer's defects, abuse and neglect (e.g. improper application, improper inflation, brake lock up, wheel spinning, torque snags, etc.).
  • Also excluded are damages caused by mechanical failures (e.g. failed shocks, struts, alignment, balancing, etc.) or interference with vehicle components (e.g. fenders, exhaust, springs, etc.).
  • Also excluded are any tires that have been retreated, recapped, regrooved, remolded, tubed, or repaired in any manner other than per manufacturer's guidelines.
  • This Road Hazard Program only covers tires that are clearly listed on the original purchase invoice, identified by the listed part/SKU number, while on the vehicle as detailed on the original purchase invoice.
  • CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, therefore such limitations may not apply. No expressed guarantee is given other than that stated herein. This Road Hazard Program gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
  • IF THE CUSTOMER IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE INVOICE, THIS ROAD HAZARD PROGRAM BECOMES NULL AND VOID.
  • If a tire covered by this Road Hazard Program is replaced for any reason, the coverage for that tire(s) ceases.
  • The Program Administrator reserves the right to deny any claim submitted with false or misleading information, or any claim submitted where the original invoice does not clearly identify the original purchaser, vehicle, mileage, and tires. All claim documentation, including the tire if requested, must be submitted within 90 days of service in order for the claim to be considered reimbursement.

Please Note: Tires do not have mileage warranty other than what is offered by the manufacturer of the tire. If tires have worn out evenly across the surface of the tire, it is typically considered normal wear and life of tire. All Luxury vehicles typically put a performance brand/rated tire on their vehicles for exceptional ride quality and performance. It is not uncommon to obtain 12,000 to 20,000 miles as normal life of a tire. † Road Hazard Coverage only provided when customer pays for tire replacement.
